Head of Business Development PGA TOUR Studios

The role leads the monetization of PGA TOUR technology and digital platforms by identifying external applications, partnerships and licensing opportunities. This position works in close partnership with the Commercial teams to ensure alignment with existing rights and commercial strategies, while focusing on developing revenue opportunities beyond the core media and sponsorship business.
Qualifications
15+ years of progressive experience in business development, partnerships or media sales within sports, media or entertainment
Proven track record of originating and closing complex, multi-party deals
Experience working with production companies, studios, networks or streaming platforms
Strong understanding of content development, production and distribution ecosystems
Experience monetizing technology, digital platforms or intellectual property preferred
Strong financial and commercial acumen, including deal structuring and negotiation
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and external partners
Established network across media, production and technology partners preferred
Experience in sports or large-scale live event environments preferred
Responsibilities
Identify and develop new content-driven revenue opportunities across live and non-live formats
Originate and pitch concepts ranging from live events to original series and commercial productions
Partner with Content Strategy & Development and Live Content to align opportunities with creative priorities
Structure and negotiate partnerships with production companies, studios, networks and streaming platforms
Lead end-to-end development of new commercial opportunities, including sourcing, structuring and closing complex, multi-party deals
Build relationships with key external partners across content, production and technology ecosystems
Partner with Legal and Finance to develop deal structures, contracts and revenue models
Lead the monetization of PGA TOUR technology capabilities, including scoring systems and event infrastructure
Identify and commercialize opportunities across digital products and platforms, including applications and data-driven services
Partner with Production Operations and Broadcast & Production Technology to position PGA TOUR Studios as a commercial production partner
Identify opportunities to support third-party productions and external clients within studio environments
Develop service offerings and pricing models that drive studio utilization and revenue
Partner closely with Corporate Partnerships, PGA TOUR Events and Media teams to align on strategy, rights and existing partner relationships
Identify and develop revenue opportunities that extend beyond traditional media rights and sponsorship structures
Ensure all opportunities complement and enhance existing commercial agreements and do not conflict with partner obligations
Serve as a central point of coordination for cross-functional deal development involving content, production and technology capabilities
Lead special projects, as required
