The James Hardie™ Pro Football Hall of Fame Invitational takes place March 2-8, 2026, at the Old Course at Broken Sound in Boca Raton, Fla. The tournament, which will be televised on the Golf Channel, will feature a field of 78 PGA TOUR Champions professionals competing for a purse of $2.2 million dollars. Playing alongside the Champions Tour players will be 26 football legends, who will tee it up on Friday and Saturday of the event. Benefitting the Boca Raton Regional Hospital, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County, and The First Tee Florida Gold Coast, the James Hardie™ Pro Football Hall of Fame Invitational will be managed by Pro Links Sports, a nationally recognized sports marketing and event management firm that assists in running several PGA TOUR and PGA TOUR Champions tournaments. Position Summary:
This internship will focus on supporting our ticketing program while also assisting with sponsor activation and fulfillment. The intern will work directly with the Ticketing & Digital Communications Manager to drive attendance, deliver exceptional experiences for partners and guests, and ensure all contracted sponsor assets are executed seamlessly. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, works well in a team environment, is detail-oriented, and seeks hands-on exposure to both the PGA TOUR and the broader sports and entertainment industry.
Position Details:
- Assist the build-out of tickets and passes in coordination with our ticketing vendor
- Provide a high level of customer service to ticket holders, sponsors, and guests
- Support on-site box office and will call operations, as well as respond to inbound partner calls
- Assist and distribute credential packets for staff, volunteers, and partners Leverage ticket vendor analytics to optimize sales and operational decisions
- Assist with customer service as it relates to ticketing including troubleshooting, refunds, order changes, etc.
- Communicate with past and prospective ticket buyers to inform them of new offerings
- Track sponsor contracts and partner information in PartnerHQ to ensure fulfillment of contracted assets such as activations, digital signage, tickets, VIP experiences
- Assist with sponsor activations on-site, including set-up, signage, hospitality areas, and branding opportunities
- Communicate with a select group of tournament partners to confirm activation details, fulfill contracted assets, and ensure a high-quality experience
Qualified Applicants Must Have:
- A desire to gain experience in a professional sports and entertainment environment
- Strong communication skills and desire to work well with others in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Flexibility and willingness to work evenings, long hours, and weekends
- Great attitude, work ethic, and enthusiasm for learning at all levels
- Full availability during advance and tournament week (February 23 – March 8)
- Internships will run from January 6 – March 13, 2026
Eligibility
- Must be currently enrolled in a degree program at the time of application or a recent college graduate. Receiving academic credit is optional.
- Applicants should reside near Boca Raton or be willing to commute to Boca Raton
