The People Success Partner will play a vital role in supporting assigned departments in all aspects of People Operations, with a focus on Talent Acquisition and Employee Relations. This includes overseeing onboarding and offboarding processes, conducting new hire check-ins, and addressing employee relations issues such as Performance Improvement Plans, warnings, and investigations. The role also involves managing Workday updates and administration, addressing absence issues, and generating system reports. In close collaboration with the Compensation, Performance, Benefits, and Learning & Development teams, the People Success Partner ensures departmental needs are efficiently met, securing all necessary approvals and fostering a smooth and supportive People Operations experience for all employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES (Specific areas of responsibility include but are not limited to):

Recruitment and Selection:

Develop and implement recruitment strategies, manage the full recruitment cycle (job postings, screening, interview coordination, and selection), and collaborate with hiring leaders to understand staffing needs. 

Onboarding and Exits:

Collaborate with the People & L&D Coordinator to oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and positive experience.  Coordinate the exit interview and offboarding process for employees who are leaving the organization.

Employee Relations:

Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on various ER matters, including performance issues, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution. 

HR Administration:

Maintain employee records, manage Workday, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Prepare reports to assist the People Team. 

Policy Development and Implementation:

Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. 

Compensation, Benefits and Performance:

Work closely with the comp, benefits and performance team on position changes, promotions, department reorgs etc.

Learning & Development:

Work closely with the L&D Director to identify training needs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

SUPERVISION:

No supervisory responsibilities. 

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY:

Responsible for assisting as needed with the budget and for monitoring results.  

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Three years’ experience as a Human Resources Generalist, including recruiting and employee relations. 

Strong Workday experience, including proficiency in managing position changes, organizational changes, and creating reports strongly desired.

SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), or equivalent credentials preferred.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

Must have knowledge of Human Resources concepts, practices and principles. Strong HR Generalist knowledge, including recruitment and employee relations best practices and policies.  In-depth understanding of HR legal requirements and regulatory compliance. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to all levels of employees. Skills in developing successful working relationships with leaders, peers, and subordinates within and outside the department. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information with the highest level of integrity. Working knowledge of Gmail, Google Drive, Google Sheets, and Google Docs. Proven proficiency in the use of Workday HCM (strongly preferred). Basic fluency in artificial intelligence (AI) tools and concepts. This includes using AI to enhance business operations and drive innovation, enabling us to better serve our Members and stakeholders.
