The Data Engineer specializing in Commercial & Consumer data leads the transformation of data into actionable insights, driving marketing strategies and enhancing consumer engagement.
RESPONSIBILITIES (Specific areas of responsibility include but are not limited to):
Create and keep up smooth-running data systems that help our marketing tools grow, making sure data flows easily across various platforms and channels.
Set up and tweak systems that keep our data top-notch, making sure it's accurate, available, and adheres to our compliance standards.
Team up with marketing and product teams to solve data-related technical issues in support of their projects and marketing campaigns.
Develop and maintain tools that use data to give insights on customer behavior and business performance, like how we get new customers and retain them over time.
Design and improve ways to collect and analyze consumer behavior data, which helps us tailor our marketing and build better customer relationships.
Ensure our marketing platforms have all the necessary data to accurately measure and report on the success of our campaigns.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Information Systems or related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
3 years of experience in data engineering or in a similar role, with a focus on marketing or consumer data analytics.
Hands-on experience with customer data platforms (CDPs), omnichannel marketing automation, and CRM platforms (e.g., Segment, SAP CDP, Emarsys, Iterable, etc.).
Experience with real-time analytics and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Looker, Google Analytics, Amplitude, etc.)
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
Must have Proficiency in SQL and data integration; experience with Python or similar scripting languages is a plus. Familiarity with AWS cloud services is preferred (e.g., Redshift, S3, RDS, Glue, Athena, etc.) Working knowledge of Gmail, Google Drive, Google Sheets, and Google Docs. Basic fluency in artificial intelligence (AI) tools and concepts. This includes using AI to enhance business operations and drive innovation, enabling us to better serve our Members and stakeholders.
