Marketing: Event Marketing
 The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour is seeking an Event Planning Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event management within the exciting world of junior golf. As an Event Planning Intern, you will work closely with our Event Planning Team to organize and execute successful golf tournaments, ensuring a seamless experience for our young athletes and their families
 
Key Responsibilities:
Ticket Sales:
    • Assist in developing and implementing ticket sales strategies.
    • Engage with potential attendees to promote and sell event tickets.
    • Track ticket sales and report progress to the Event Planning Team.
  1. Digital Media:
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create digital media content.
    • Assist in designing and producing graphics for promotional materials.
    • Contribute to the development of engaging visual content for online platforms.
  2. Social Media:
    • Manage and update social media accounts to promote HJGT events.
    • Create and schedule posts to engage with our online community.
    • Monitor social media activity and respond to inquiries and comments.
  3. 30-45 Second Promo Videos:
    • Work on the production of short promotional videos for upcoming events.
    • Assist in scripting, shooting, editing, and publishing promotional videos.
    • Ensure that promotional videos are engaging and reflect the event's essence.
  4. Research:
    • Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and best practices.
    • Compile data and insights to inform event planning and marketing strategies.
    • Present research findings to the Event Planning Team for consideration.

Qualifications:

  • Enthusiasm for golf and/or event planning.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Photoshop).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation.
  • Basic video editing skills (experience with video editing software is a plus).
  • Able to work 4 days a week 8am-5:30 pm EST
