POSITION OVERVIEW
Pro Shop is hiring an IT Manager to own and operate our internal IT systems as we transition away from a third-party provider. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role embedded within Product & Engineering, designed for speed, clarity, and accountability.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the clear owner, working directly with teams, and keeping systems simple and reliable.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Own internal IT systems and tooling (identity, access, devices, SaaS vendors)
- Manage employee onboarding/offboarding and permissions
- Handle device provisioning, replacements, and hardware/software logistics
- Own mobile device management (MDM) for all employee hardware
- Act as first-line responder for internal IT issues
- Partner closely with Product & Engineering on access and change management
- Manage external IT vendors as needed, with an emphasis on minimizing complexity
- Create lightweight documentation and repeatable processes
What This Role Is Not
- Not an infrastructure or SRE role
- Not a security/compliance leadership role
- Not a large-team management position
- Not a heavily bureaucratic ticket-based function
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-6 years experience in internal IT systems or corporate IT
- Strong hands-on experience with identity, access management, and SaaS tooling
- Comfortable operating independently in a fast-moving environment
- Pragmatic, low-ego, and execution-oriented
- Startup or lean-org experience preferred
Reporting & Structure
- Reports to Head of Product, Engineering, & IT
- No direct reports initially
- High ownership, high trust role

The salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $130,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
