POSITION OVERVIEW
Pro Shop is seeking a General Manager (GM) to lead, operate, and scale a joint venture (JV) with a prominent golf influencer (Influencer) across media, commerce/merchandise, and sales. 

This role functions as the internal manager and operator of the JV inside Pro Shop - owning strategy, execution, and results while serving as the point of accountability between Pro Shop’s content, commerce, sales, and marketing teams and the Influencer and their representation. 

The GM will ensure that JV opportunities are prioritized, executed at a premium level, and aligned with Pro Shop’s commercial goals, Influencer’s brand and expectations and long-term equity value.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Joint Venture Management
·   Oversee the JV business holistically, including strategy, execution, and performance
·   Coordinate annual budget, forecasts, and resource allocation across media, commerce, and partnerships
·   Track and report on KPIs: revenue, margins, engagement, growth, and ROI. 
·   Identify and prioritize new growth opportunities across content, commerce, licensing, and other areas in conjunction with the Influencers representation. 

Talent Management
·    Serve as Pro Shop’s primary point of contact with Influencer
·    Ensure Influencer’s time, brand, and IP are deployed intentionally, efficiently, in line with Influencers brand standard.
·    Prepare Influencer for key appearances, launches, and partner engagements
·    Coordinate with Influencer’s external representation, while ensuring Pro Shop alignment

Project Management & Execution
·    Serve as lead project manager across all initiatives
·    Translate strategy into clear roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables
·    Drive cross-functional execution across Pro Shop content, production, sales, marketing, commerce, and legal teams
·    Ensure launches are on-time, on-brand, and commercially optimized

Content & Programming Leadership
·    Work with media and content planning teams to:
·    Shape the creative slate for Influencer-led shows and formats
·    Plan episodic calendars, shoot schedules, and promotional rollouts
·    Develop and execute YouTube distribution and monetization plans
·    Balance creative ambition with production and monetization realities
·    Ensure content aligns with influencer’s voice, audience, and long-term brand positioning
·    Work with Pro Shop Sales and marketing teams to serve as internal quarterback for partner relationships tied to the brand

Commerce & Brand Extensions
·  Partner with Pro Shop commerce teams to: 
·  Develop, launch, and scale branded products and lines
·  Coordinate product ideation, sourcing, pricing, and go-to-market strategy
·  Own brand consistency across products, packaging, messaging, and customer experience
·   Track product performance and iterate based on data and feedback

QUALIFICATIONS
·      8+ years experience in media, talent representation, consumer products, or GM-level roles
·      Proven experience owning complex, cross-functional initiatives across multiple stakeholder groups
·      Experience in sports, entertainment, media, or creator-led brands
·      Strong commercial instincts with experience managing budgets, P&L, and revenue targets
·      Exceptional project management and communication skills
·      High emotional intelligence; trusted with talent relationships
·      Experience with YouTube channel and/or commerce/merchandising development strongly preferred

The salary range for this position is between $150,000 and $160,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
