Cabot Citrus Farms
Cabot’s first U.S. destination, Cabot Citrus Farms, is situated on 1,200 acres of rolling land and will include Cabot’s signature combination of world-class golf, luxury accommodations, and real estate opportunities. Opening in 2023, Cabot Citrus Farms will feature two revitalized 18-hole courses, an 11-hole par-3 course, an unconventional 10-hole course, a new clubhouse, and extensive practice facilities. The property is a short 50-minute drive from Tampa and an 80-minute drive from Orlando. While close to urban amenities, the property sits in the central-west region of Florida aptly known as the Nature Coast. Visitors will delight in one-of-a-kind experiences including exceptional hiking, biking, and nature trails at neighboring Withlacoochee State Forest, spring-fed rivers and bountiful lakes at Crystal River, and world-class fishing in the Gulf of Mexico.
Position Overview
As a Summer FP&A Analyst at Cabot Citrus Farms, you will be joining a new and growing team. This role will mainly support the Controller, and will also have visibility to the CFO and members of the executive team. Areas of responsibility include financial planning and analysis, development and management of KPIs, and systems optimization. This role will also provide some level of support to the construction team.
The Profile
Reporting to the Controller of Cabot Citrus Farms, the Summer FP&A Analyst displays a high level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, and enthusiasm. Securing and protecting files to ensure information is never compromised and adhering to Cabot’s security procedures with respect to assigned authorities and responsibilities is exhibited by the Summer FP&A Analyst in all daily tasks. Any unusual occurrences are to be reported to the CFO immediately. The Summer FP&A Analyst is a member of the team providing support to the operating teams to deliver on the brand’s mission to “Create Magical Places Where Remarkable Memories are Made”.

Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop and Analyze reports on our Vena budgeting and planning system
- Create dashboards with the use of PowerBI
- Analyze KPI for various areas of the business,
- Develop new KPIs, through growing knowledge of the business
- Expense monitoring
- Develop ways to automate expense coding for our BILL expense management system
- Evaluate systems of coding and entering invoices into accounting system
- Manage employee credit cards and preauthorized debits
- Support Accounts Payable function
- Support, with help of the Staff Accountant Resort Operations, the Accounts Receivables function
- Adhere to all policies, procedures, and service standards
- Complete other special projects and duties as assigned by the accounting or the construction team
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor in Accounting, Finance, or Data Analytics; or Graduate student pursuing a Masters in accounting or finance, preferred
- Knowledge of PowerBI
- Excellent knowledge in Excel and familiarity with enterprise reporting systems.
- Eagerness to always improve and optimize processes
- High level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality
