Cabot Citrus Farms
Cabot’s first U.S. destination, Cabot Citrus Farms, is situated on 1,200 acres of rolling land and will include Cabot’s signature combination of world-class golf, luxury accommodations and real estate opportunities. Opening in 2023, Cabot Citrus Farms will feature two revitalized 18-hole courses, a par-3 course, a new clubhouse and extensive practice facilities. The property is a short 50-minute drive from Tampa and an 80-minute drive from Orlando. While close to urban amenities, the property sits in the central-west region of Florida aptly known as the Nature Coast. Visitors will delight in one-of-a-kind experiences including exceptional hiking, biking and nature trails at neighboring Withlacoochee State Forest, spring- fed rivers and bountiful lakes at Crystal River, and world-class fishing in the Gulf of Mexico.

Position Overview
As a Starter / Ranger at Cabot Citrus Farms, you will be part of a team of top performers who take pride in delivering an exhilarating golf experience for our guests while assisting in the day-to-day on-course operations of Cabot. You work exceptionally well under pressure and enjoy a fast-paced, multi-faceted operation. Responsible, reliable, and energized by the variety of tasks involved in the day-to-day functions of the Golf Operations Department while ensuring exceptional customer service to guests and associates. You are proud to represent the Cabot brand, and proactively act as an ambassador and role model.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service. 
  • Be knowledgeable of the Tee Sheet and ensure guests tee off at their scheduled tee time. 
  • Be knowledgeable of Pace of Play and any situations that may affect Pace of Play.
  • Assist guests with routing of the golf course (help groups get from hole to hole). 
  • Assist guests with information on resort amenities, information about the community and surrounding areas, and directions. 
  • Always be in contact with the Pro Shop to ensure the guests’ needs are met. 
  • Assist with any Pro Shop inquiries/situations that regard the first tee. 
  • Ensure the first tee is set up and well stocked with all the materials and amenities to be distributed to guests (Scorecards, pencils, tees, ball markers, cookies, water).
  • Anticipate situations that may slow pace down, and work to get those situations resolved before they become a slow-paced issue. 
  • Assist the on-course Host with any guests special on course inquiries/complaints. 
  • Assist guests with routing of the golf course (help groups get from hole to hole). 
  • Assist guests with information on resort amenities, information about the community and surrounding areas, and directions. 
  • Always be in contact with the Pro Shop to ensure the guests’ needs are met. 
  • Log any guest interactions as required. 
  • Ensure that all the course coolers are filled with ice and water for guests.
  • Ensure on course washrooms are always maintained and contact housekeeping to properly maintain them if required. 

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license. 
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.
  • Enthusiastic, positive, authentic, engaging, and high energy 
  • Excellent grooming and personal appearance standards
  • Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process. 

Physical Demands
  • Work outdoors in varying environmental conditions such as heat, cold, rain, and wind. 
  • Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 25 pounds of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or otherwise move objects.
  • Ability to spend long hours moving around, walking, sitting, standing, kneeling, reaching, and crouching while performing other duties.
  • Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
