As the Tournament Talent Acquisition, you will partner with the Talent Acquisition Lead and the business to execute strategic and creative tournament recruiting strategies to attract and hire top retail talent. In partnership with the Talent Acquisition Lead, this person will support the creation and planning of the talent acquisition lifecycle to attract, evaluate, and hire talent for the Masters Tournament. This role will develop strong partnerships with Leaders enabling growth by assessing needs and developing talent acquisition solutions. The ideal candidate will have retail recruitment and/or high-volume professional recruiting experience.

Essential Functions of the Job

  • Support Tournament hiring process by sourcing, screening, shortlisting, and interviewing candidates.
  • Employ efficient and effective recruiting methods based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the Club and Masters Tournament.
  • In partnership with the Human Resources Manager and business leaders, understand and develop the specific recruiting goals and implement recruiting strategies.
  • In partnership with the University Relations team, build a robust partnership with universities and trade schools.
  • Sources and discovers top talent to fill current and future needs utilizing job boards, professional organizations, employee referrals, trade schools, and colleges and universities.
  • Schedule and coordinate phone, virtual and on-site interviews with hiring managers and other interviewers.
  • Ensure positive candidate experience with frequent and timely communication throughout the recruitment process.
  • Manage the recruiting process by opening new requisitions, creating offer letters, and managing Workday.
  • Assists with coordinating candidate travel, lodging and transportation.
  • Work with the Talent Acquisition team on various projects that support the whole team’s goals (e.g., creating candidate resources, improving our applicant tracking system, helping with reporting, and more).
  • Partners with HRIS on all recruiting process updates.
  • Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and company policies.

  • Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties
  • Occasionally required to walk and work with hands and arms, lift up to 25 pounds and/or drive a golf cart.
  • Constantly required to sit, sometimes for several hours at a time, and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.

Qualifications:

      Skills/Knowledge/Attributes:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build solid relationships.
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency and high attention to details
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Relative Experience/Education:

  •  2-4 years full cycle recruiting experience (retail or agency) required, demonstrating successful direct sourcing techniques and effective relationship management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required; 5 years direct Human Resources experience may be substituted for a formal degree
  • Professional Recruiter Certification (PRC), preferred

Required License(s):

  • Possess a valid driver’s license and/or successfully completes the Club’s internal motor vehicle training program

Projected Work Schedule:

Normal work hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays. 25% travel is required, with the majority of the travel taking place between September and November.
