ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
Oversee all aspects of the development process, including estimating, project management, and contract negotiations, along with maintaining quality, schedule, and budget goals.
Lead a team of project managers assigning appropriate projects for them to complete whilst creating an environment for them to grow and develop as professionals.
Collaborate with senior leadership, providing regular progress updates on projects.
Accountable for cross-functional collaboration to accomplish organizational goals.
Accountable for the effectiveness of multiple processes, programs, and projects, while seeking efficiencies in process improvements and establishing standardization policies.
Responsible for the performance improvement and development of direct reports.
Accountable for the effective financial management, including effective allocation of payroll, including management of overtime spend for the team.
Responsible for delivery of capital projects that are on time, on budget, and meet ANGC quality standards.
Oversee the creation of project timelines, define key deliverables, and create project plans for project execution.
Direct and manage all aspects of projects from pre-construction to completion.
Serves as the main point of contact for the project and for internal and external stakeholders.
Maintains a detailed project schedule and provides weekly project status updates.
Lead multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Manage proposals (risk, scheduling, estimating, construction, terms) during the full cycle of a project.
Hold internal teams, the Business Owner, external GCs and subcontractors, and suppliers accountable for scope of work, quality, change orders, and project schedules.
Responsible for coordinating all operational activities at the end of the project to ensure a successful transition to operations.
Proactively develop relationships with the design, contractor, and subcontractor communities.
Produce drawings during the concept phase and assist with development of major program elements.
Lead the selection and contracting process of architects, engineers, and specialty consultants, including oversight during construction.
Review contact documents and discuss design schematics with Business Owners, architects, and engineers.
Help quantify project scope after a project business case has been approved.
Lead the selection and contracting process of the general contractor.
Manage the pre-construction and mobilization phase.
Assist with oversight of project safety and mitigate risks.
Review constructability to find monetary efficiencies and schedule efficiencies.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & Work Environment
Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties.
Occasionally required to walk and work with hands and arms, lift up to 50lbs.
Sometimes required to sit or stand for extended periods of time and walk long distances.
Equal parts indoors and outdoors with frequent job site locations.
Frequent interruptions with variable noise levels due to events or construction atmosphere.
Occasional outdoor work.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ATTRIBUTES
Advanced knowledge and experience in the construction industry, project management, scheduling, methodology, or equivalent experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal). Specifically, with colleagues and contracted vendors while working towards project success.
Requires individual planning, prioritizing, and time management skills to meet deadlines while working with multiple projects.
Schedule management within dynamic settings that also includes reporting to Club executives via reports or dashboards.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to multi-task with high attention to detail and accuracy in an efficient and timely manner.
Working knowledge of archival programs to store and retrieve documents.
Proficient in project management, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, financial reporting, client relationships, intrapersonal skills, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures to hold team members accountable to established standards.
Problem solving from a practical level with solid construction means and methods.
Familiar with sound business practices within the design & construction industry, the golf industry, and hospitality & service industry.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
Education
Minimum of 8 years relevant work experience and 5+ years in a leadership / management role preferred.
Bachelor's and/or Master’s Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Project Management in construction is required.
Required License(s):
Possess a valid driver’s license and/or successfully completes the Club’s Internal Motor Vehicle Training Program.
Projected Work Schedule
Normal work hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
