The Project Manager will lead, facilitate, analyze, and evaluate business systems and problems to identify solutions or make referrals. As a part of our PMO team, they will also lead projects related to business and IT initiatives. They will assist with planning, documenting user requirements, and defining scope and objectives in support of overall business strategies. The successful Project Manager will lead and facilitate with others to translate business requirements into proven solutions.

Essential Functions of the Job

  • Document requirements, define scope and objectives and formulate solutions to support business strategies and initiatives.
  • Lead process mapping sessions and translate requirements into design.
  • Works with project stakeholders to drive out specific needs, and to design processes and practices that will need to be met in new systems.
  • Help influence the decision process by facilitating collaboration of business stakeholders, vendors, and the IT team.
  • Responsible for leading the planning, scheduling, and completion of various projects.
  • Experienced with project management concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Oversee all aspects of a project from initiation to completion.
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, tasks, and deliverables.
  • Set deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project with assistance from management.
  • Gathers and analyzes information to prepare status reports.
  • Expected to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
  • This person will also be responsible for other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Perform other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including the preparation and support of the Masters Tournament.
  • Maintain the strict confidentiality of Augusta National Golf Club, its staff and membership, and all aspects of the business.
  • Trains others on responsibilities and how to accomplish tasks.
  • Ensures effective running of processes, programs, and projects.
  • Physical demands are outlined immediately below.

Physical Demands:

  • Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties.
  • Occasionally required to move and carry up to 30 pounds and/or drive a golf cart.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
  • Required intervals of walking, standing, stair climbing, and sitting during the day.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated business acumen and the ability to translate business requirements into solutions
  • Ability to lead projects from initiation to completion
  • Ability to handle issues and know when to escalate to management for assistance
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities through effective organization and communication
  • Ability to maintain composure and focus while working in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and workload in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment
  • Strong self-motivation, disciplined problem solver
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal

Relative Experience/Education:

  • Bachelors degree in IT, Business Administration or relevant field
  • 2 - 4 years of experience working as a Business Analyst or Project Coordinator
  • Any training and/or certifications applicable to this position are a plus

Required License(s):

  • Possess a valid driver’s license and/or successfully completes the Club’s internal motor vehicle training program

Projected Work Schedule:

Normal work hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
