The Washington Commanders are seeking a Technical Studio Production Associate to assist with technical operations for our studio and broadcast production team.
The right individual must take great pride in their work and perform well within a team environment. Previous experience working in a technical operation capacity with live streaming production experience is preferred. Candidates should have strong working knowledge of camera operation, lighting, broadcast audio and control room technology. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, while keeping organized and maintaining high standards in all work.
Job Responsibilities:
- Setup and maintain operation of all cameras for studio productions.
- Ensure proper audio connection with studio microphones.
- Setup and perform work functions using VMix production switcher system for studio productions and live streaming events.
- Advise on needed repair or upgrades to studio equipment.
- Research and share emerging trends in studio broadcast operation technology.
- Suggest ideas for best practices for operation of studio broadcast technology.
Qualifications:
- 1 – 3 years experience working in technical operations or in a similar capacity in a live television broadcast environment with strong knowledge of the production process.
- Ability to setup, operate and maintain remote robotic camera system.
- Ability to setup proper audio connection using studio microphones.
- Experience working on live stream video productions.
- Experience with Adobe production suite (Premier, Audition, After Effects & Photoshop).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Detail-oriented and strong organization and project management skills.
Requirements:
- Must provide own means of transportation to our Training facility in Ashburn, Virginia.
- Expected to work all home games at Northwest Stadium and all away games from Ashburn, Virginia.
- Interested applicants must be willing and able to work non-traditional hours in non-traditional settings during peak times of the year.
