Job Description
The Marketing Project Manager will be a member of the Washington Commanders Marketing team that will be responsible for project management for team events and campaigns. The person in this role will be responsible for collaborating across the organization to develop plans for event execution, including fan activations, sponsorship involvement, and programming. This person must be a detail-oriented, self-starter with a passion for creating memorable experiences and driving successful marketing and sales events.
 
Success in this role requires a creative individual with strong communication, organization and collaboration skills.  
                  
Responsibilities:
·       Provide day-to-day project management support for marketing projects in collaboration with departments across the organization, including but not limited to fan events, ticket sales, sponsorships, gameday entertainment, content/social media, creative services, community relations and special events business 
·       Define project objectives, scope and deliverables with internal stakeholders that support their business goals
·       Assist in ensuring that all consumer touchpoints and campaign assets are effectively representing the Washington Commanders brand
·       Work with marketing team members to define goals and objectives for team related events to ensure they align with the comprehensive marketing and brand strategy 
·       Work with team members to organize all aspects of event production, including venue selection, budget management, logistics, vendor relationships, and on-site execution
·       Create and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for fan facing events
·       Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues that may arise and ensure that project deliverables are being executed at the highest quality
·       Communicate project status updates and progress to stakeholders
·       Conduct post-event evaluations to analyze success and identify areas for improvement
·       Foster a positive and collaborative team environment that encourages innovation, creativity and high performance
 
Qualifications:
·       Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Sports Management, or a related field.
·       3+ years of experience in sports marketing, preferably with a focus on project management
·       Proven track record of successfully managing multiple complex projects from start to finish
·       Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
·       Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment 
·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
·       Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
·       Experience with Project Management Software (ex. Monday.com, Asana, Wrike) and a PMP certification a plus
·       Ability to perform duties representing the Washington Commanders core values
