At each game, the Washington Commanders 50/50 Raffle awards half the jackpot to one lucky winner, with the other half supporting the Foundation’s community initiatives in the DMV. The ideal candidate for the 50/50 Raffle Gameday Manager position will embody a professional demeanor, demonstrating clear communication skills with executives at all levels, both internally and externally. This role operates within a dynamic, fast-paced environment, requiring adept multitasking to handle various responsibilities while meeting challenging deadlines. Independence, initiative, and the ability to make informed decisions are essential traits for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
· Coordinate and manage the gameday operations of the Washington Commanders Foundation’s 50/50 raffle during game days; tasks including setup, execution, and closing.
· Ensure sellers’ kiosks and equipment are set up; includes technology is effectively working and staff are stocked with necessary supplies.
· Manage the Commanders 50/50 Raffle Operations through Ascend’s online platform; including voiding tickets, closing the raffle, drawing the winner, etc.
· Be attentive and available to help sellers with any questions/problems they may have. This may include troubleshooting technology issues, resolving customer service issues, and visiting a seller’s kiosk throughout the stadium when necessary.
· The 50/50 Raffle Gameday Manager is also equipped to sell raffle tickets when there may be down time between troubleshooting issues and assisting WCF staff member.
· Assist WCF staff member with seller check-in and aid in supporting WCF staff with training new sellers on the Commanders 50/50 Raffle as well as the use of Ascend’s handheld devices.
· The 50/50 Raffle Gameday Manager will report to the Community Relations team on gameday.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules
- Commitment to working all Washington Commanders home games and key stadium events throughout the season
- Professional presence with excellent verbal communication and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest service
- Comfortable using handheld technology and mobile applications to support raffle sales
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations on game day.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments and adapting quickly
- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk long distances, and work outdoors in various weather conditions
Compensation
Hourly: $18
