About the Position

The UFL is seeking a Seasonal Media Asset Manager to join our creative team. In this role you will be responsible for the organization, cataloging, and distribution of all digital media assets across the league. This role ensures that content is easily accessible, properly tagged, securely stored, and efficiently delivered to internal teams, external partners, and media outlets. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, process-driven, and passionate about helping creative teams work faster and smarter.


What you will do

  • Manage the league’s Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, including upload, metadata tagging, version control, and archiving.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all asset requests across internal departments (marketing, social, PR, partnerships) and external parties (broadcast partners, media partners and sponsors)

  • Develop and maintain standardized file-naming conventions, taxonomy structures, and metadata tagging to ensure consistent organization.

  • Oversee ingest workflows for new content from game-day, studio shoots, and external production partners.

  • Coordinate with social, creative, and marketing teams to ensure timely delivery and access to approved assets.

  • Coordinate content and asset distribution with media partners, content creators 

  • Monitor storage capacity and system performance; recommend and implement improvements where needed.

  • Train and support staff in best practices for uploading, searching, and retrieving assets within the system.

  • Maintain security protocols and access permissions to protect sensitive materials.

  • Collaborate with IT and vendors to troubleshoot system issues and execute software updates or integrations.

  • Assist with archiving legacy content and managing the migration of historical assets.


What you will bring

  • 3+ years of experience managing digital assets, ideally within sports, entertainment, or media production.

  • Strong understanding of metadata, tagging, file structures, and version control.

  • Proficiency in asset management platforms preferably, ScorePlay, 

  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud workflows (Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects).

  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Additional Details 

  • The location of this role is in Dallas-Fort Worth Metro Area

  • Primarily works in an office and/or an office environment but may include attending select games and events in UFL team markets.

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights and holidays required.

  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
