About the Position
The Marketing Coordinator will report to the Director, Digital Marketing & Media and support the holistic Marketing team and key initiatives across the league and eight (8) teams. The Marketing Coordinator is a “Jack/Jill of all trades,” responsible for supporting a variety of marketing functions and initiatives across the league and teams with a focus on digital marketing, customer acquisition and new medias.
The Marketing Coordinator will support key marketing tactics and campaign execution, with a special focus supporting email and performance marketing. He or she will also play a critical role in key marketing functions including collateral management, premium item inventory, program development and implementation, execution of tentpole events, supporting ticket sales marketing, and other related events. The coordinator will seamlessly move between influencing strategic planning and driving execution in a fast-paced sports environment.
What You Will Do
Support CRM Marketing lead, developing and executing email campaigns for league and eight teams, interfacing with Team Marketing Managers and League Marketing Directors
Support Marketing campaign operations, providing trafficking and project management support, with additional focus to support the paid media campaigns for all eight teams. Work directly with Digital Marketing Director and interfacing with Media Agency in support Single Game Ticket campaigns and promotions for all teams leading up to and throughout the season, as well as Postseason/Championship Ticket campaigns..
Support cross-functional marketing planning, interfacing with members of verticals (Creative & Content, Sponsorship, Merchandise, Ticketing, Team Marketing/Business Leads) to provide collaborative support in planning campaigns, tentpole events, in-market activations - from ideation to logistics and execution
Support Team Ticket Marketing collaboration, working across Marketing and Ticketing teams to ensure visibility to plans and provide collateral management, creative trafficking, etc as needed
Manage all premium items and branded inventory for team marketing activations and promotions. Provide additional planning, activation and project management support as needed.
Provide organization support managing process and operational documents such as the functional department calendar. Support campaign operations and project management utilizing Project Management software Wrike.

What you will bring:
● 1-3 years of experience in progressively-responsible marketing roles.
● Must have exceptional command of grammar and astute proofreading abilities.
● Experience executing marketing campaigns in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
● Exceptional writing, grammatical, and copy-editing skills and the ability to write original content.
● Must be able to maintain multiple concurrent projects in a fast, fluid environment.
● Aptitude for creative design/production.
● Capability to manage relationships and coordinate projects with external communications contractors (photographers, writers, etc.).
● Highly detail-oriented with superb organizational and time management skills.
● Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude especially in high-stress situations.
● Ability to travel (weekend work required).
● Industry experience within the sports and entertainment, or a related field.
Additional Details
● Primarily works in a remote office and/or an office environment but will include attending games and local events.
● Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
● Minimal Travel (<10% travel): May be required to travel.
● Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights and holidays required.
● Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
