The mission of the Houston Texans Draft Class program is to provide chosen future sports professionals the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in the professional sports industry through exposure throughout the Houston Texans organization.  The chosen future sports professional will make meaningful contributions to Houston Texans business and/or football operations through in-depth meaningful curriculum and experiences.
 
The Houston Texans are seeking an individual for the position of Ticketing Intern.

Basic Function:
Assist in all customer service functions and projects as well as other Premium Seating and Ticket Operations activities as may be assigned.

Duties & Responsibilities: 
  • Participate in all Customer Service/Membership Service projects, including, but not limited to, receiving fan complaints, comments, and suggestions; following up with all appropriate entities to ensure satisfactory resolution of customer service situations; and tracking customer feedback.
  • Assist in planning and executing special events held for season ticket holders.
  • Assist in with various aspects of the season ticket holder renewal process.
  • Assist with basic office tasks relating to customer service functions.
  • Manage ticketing storage area and asset inventory.
  • Assist with Ticket Operations projects as assigned, including, but not limited to, payment plan management, invoice management, pricing, and reporting. 
  • Assist with the assignments and communications for gameday ticketing employees.
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of all ticketing-related items on gamedays.
  • Participate in the administration of the employee recognition program and other employee initiatives.
  • Assist in the delivery of all ticketing department shipments (tickets/parking passes, invoices, gifts, etc.)
  • Perform various other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the Director of Membership Service, Sr. Director of Ticket Services, and other departmental staff.
Position requires routine face-to-face personal interaction with other Club personnel; therefore, job responsibilities must be physically performed in the Club offices and not in a telecommuting manner.

  • Ability and internal drive to demonstrate a winning attitude and a strong work ethic in the performance of all job responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.

Education/Experience: 
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university preferred.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Previous professional sports industry or customer service experience preferred.

Reports to: Sr. Director of Ticket Services
