Basic Function: Prospects, qualifies, and follows-up with Houston market with the expectation to increase Houston Texans ticket sales revenue, with a primary focus on creating consumer group experiences through the sale of group ticket packages for all Houston Texans home games.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Prospect, connect and close group ticket sales leads through lead follow-up, cold-calling, face-to-face appointments and networking.
  • Work to grow existing group/hospitality and theme night events.
  • Develop, plan and execute new events.
  • Adhere to department guidelines in relation to call volume and outside networking opportunities and key performance metrics.
  • Consistently enter client data into CRM and Archtics ticketing system to aid in information sharing between sales and other departments as well as enhancing the Houston Texans sales processes.
  • Consistently maintain a strong and efficient sales pipeline and display the capability to manage a sales funnel effectively.
  • Maintain high level of customer service to existing and new clients of the Houston Texans.
  • Participate in various sales, team and community events as assigned.
  • Represent organization at various networking events and/or offsite community events promoting group ticket sales.
  • Active role in the Houston Texans game day experience with a focus on executing various group sales initiatives as assigned. 
  • Perform various other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by Group Sales Manager and/or VP Ticket Sales and Events.
Focus Expectations:
  • Primary – Consumer Group Ticket Packages
  • Secondary – Consumer Season Ticket Packages
Position requires routine face-to-face personal interaction with other Club personnel; therefore, job responsibilities must be physically performed in the Club offices and not in a telecommuting manner.

Skills Required:
  • High level of self-motivation.
  • Willingness to engage in a high volume of telemarketing and outside sales efforts.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a high-energy environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage diverse and multiple projects with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability and internal drive to demonstrate a winning attitude and a strong work ethic in the performance of all job responsibilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidential and/or proprietary information.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop solid working relationships at all levels across the organization and externally.
  • Excellent attention to detail and an ability to produce high-quality, accurate work within designated deadlines.
  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office software applications.

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university preferred.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Minimum one (1) year working experience in college/professional sales or service environment required.
