Facility Operations/Event Staff: Game Day/Event Staff
Do you have a passion for providing great customer service? The Houston Texans are looking for Quality Assurance Representatives to join our team on a seasonal basis! The individual will complete various “secret shopping” assignments by observing various areas in and around Stadium premises. They will interact with guests prior to, during and after Houston Texans (“Club”) home games to ensure the highest level of customer service is being provided to guests.

Duties & Responsibilities: 
  • Monitor different interior and exterior areas of the Stadium to make note of general operational concerns to be called to the attention of management.
  • Collect data regarding fan experience from guests through fan intercept surveys.
  • Collect data regarding the fan experience by timing concession and security lines, checking restrooms for cleanliness and reporting any maintenance issues.
  • Assist with any fan behavior related calls and texts.
  • Communicate with Event Services personnel department regarding findings.
  • Take photos of areas meeting and/or not meeting Club standards.
  • Provide gameday activity information to guests when opportunity arises.
  • Take ownership in resolving and following through on all service issues noted.
  • Perform other gameday customer service-related duties as may be assigned by the Event Services Coordinator.
  • Attendance is required at all gamedays including all ten (10) home games in the pre-season and regular season and play-offs.
  • Position requires routine face-to-face personal interaction with other Club personnel and fans at NRG Stadium and/or NRG Park during Houston Texans football games and other Club events; therefore, job responsibilities must be physically performed in the Club offices and/or at NRG Stadium/NRG Park as may be assigned and not in a telecommuting manner.
 

Skills Required: 
  • Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communications.
  • Excellent attention to detail. 
  • High level of customer service skills.
  • Ability and internal drive to demonstrate a winning attitude and a strong work ethic in the performance of all job responsibilities. 
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule, e.g., outside normal working hours, evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Job requires walking around and standing for prolonged periods of time in various Club premises in and around NRG Stadium and NRG Park, as may be assigned.
 

Travel requirements: None.
 
Position requires routine face-to-face personal interaction with other Club personnel; therefore, job responsibilities must be physically performed in the Club offices and/or various other Club premises in NRG Park as may be assigned and not in a telecommuting manner.


Educational Requirements: 
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree, or in pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree, from a four-year accredited college or university preferred.
