The Houston Texans are seeking an individual for the position of Foundation Intern. This is a seasonal internship supporting the Houston Texans Foundation with a focus on youth and flag football initiatives.

Basic Function:
- The Foundation Intern will support the Football Development and Community Fundraising departments in the day-to-day execution of all Houston Texans flag football programming and fundraising events.
- Throughout the internship, the candidate will gain hands-on experience by learning how to:
- Execute youth sports events at a world-class standard.
- Manage the full lifecycle of flag football programming, including planning, execution, and post-event recaps.
- Develop and apply strong event coordination skills.
- Strengthen key professional competencies essential for career growth.
- Build a meaningful portfolio and practical work experience to support future opportunities in the sports industry.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in the execution of all flag football programs/ initiatives such as Girls Flag League, Girls Flag College Showcase, Girls Flag Jamboree, Girls Flag Coach of the Week, Girls Flag Regional/ State Championship, YMCA Flag, Flag-In-Schools, and NFL FLAG Championship.
- Participate in, and complete tasks associated with but not limited to the She’s Next campaign, as well as other duties related to the Make Texas Next (sub-campaign) to support Texans Girls Flag sanctioning efforts.
- Schedule and execute meeting with female leaders within the organization as part of the B.U.L.L Mentors program (Building and Uplifting, Ladies in Leadership).
- Develop a portfolio including event recaps, run of show and Texans flag program growth metrics.
- Create and present an end of season project based on internship experience.
- Perform various other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the Director of Youth Football Development and other departmental staff.
Position requires routine face-to-face personal interaction with other Club personnel; therefore, job responsibilities must be physically performed in the Club offices and not in a telecommuting manner.

Education/Experience:
- Completion of, or in pursuit of, a bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited university.
- High School Diploma required.
