Job Function: Lead the Houston Texans Foundation’s community fundraising strategy with a primary focus on generating $6M+ annually through events, gameday activations, grants, and donor engagement. Oversee full revenue cycle management, ensuring strong financial performance and measurable impact for the Houston community.
- Fundraising & Revenue Generation – Own and drive the Foundation’s annual fundraising strategy, targeting $6M+ in annual revenue through events, gameday initiatives, grants, and donor engagement. Manage overall P&L to maximize community investment and ensure sustainable year-over-year growth.
- Budget Management – Oversee and manage the Houston Texans Foundation budget with Executive Director oversight, ensuring disciplined expense control and revenue optimization.
- Events Strategy & Execution – Design, build, and execute a high-performing revenue-generating events portfolio, including: Season Premiere (Texans’ Annual Gala), Charity Golf Classic, Taste of The Texans, Auctions, VIP experiences, and donor cultivation events.
- Gameday Fundraising – Lead all gameday fundraising initiatives, including 50/50 raffle operations, ensuring strong execution, staffing, technology integration, and achievement of aggressive revenue targets.
- Grant Strategy – Develop and manage a proactive grant acquisition strategy to maximize eligible public, private, and foundation funding opportunities.
- Create new revenue sources for the foundation through donor engagement and events.
- Donor Database & Engagement – Build, manage, and optimize a comprehensive donor database, including segmentation, stewardship strategy, and ongoing communication to strengthen donor retention and lifetime value.
- LSSE Fundraising Events – Oversee execution of all Lone Star Sports & Entertainment fundraising events, including Gridiron Legends Golf Tournament, Team Luncheon, gameday auctions, and other revenue-driving initiatives.
- Team Leadership – Lead, develop, and mentor the Coordinator of Community Fundraising, fostering a high-performance, revenue-driven culture.
- 50/50 Program Leadership – Manage a 30–40 person gameday sales team responsible for executing the 50/50 raffle program and achieving targeted fundraising revenue goals.
- Revenue Innovation – Continuously identify and implement new gameday fundraising opportunities by benchmarking best practices across professional sports organizations and developing innovative, high-impact revenue strategies.
- Execution & Optimization – Oversee all operational aspects of gameday fundraising, ensuring seamless execution, compliance, and maximum revenue performance.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Executive Director of the Houston Texans Foundation and Community.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related business tools.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of an organization and externally.
- Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative fundraising and revenue generation strategies.

- Demonstrated positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to achieving ambitious fundraising goals.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university preferred.
- High school diploma required.
- Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in sports or nonprofit fundraising with direct responsibility for revenue generation of $6M+ annually through events, auctions, grants, and donor programs.
- Proven track record of leading fundraising operations with increasing responsibility and measurable financial results.
- Experience in a professional sports environment is strongly preferred.
