Essential Job Function:
The Digital Marketing Manager helps manage the Texans’ digital marketing channels and platforms, including web, app, email, SMS, and push notifications with a focus on connecting digital marketing to ticketing/CRM data centers to produce personalized, automated campaigns that engage our fanbase and key audiences while driving significant revenue growth. Additionally, the manager will explore web, app, and YouTube data to drive experimentation and unlock user growth and engagement. Experience with email marketing automation software such as Oracle Eloqua or Salesforce Marketing Cloud is required. This role will both drive and support digital strategy by accelerating decision- making by communicating actionable insights and owning long-term digital growth. The best candidates will be highly motivated to develop a data-driven approach to growth. Day-to-day work will include supporting fan journeys (eg, multi-touchpoint automated journeys, building dashboards and digital assets, and managing/guiding digital marketing for internal departments.
 
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Build digital tactics playbook to execute team strategy; help evolve the visual look, automations, and segmentation. The Texans currently use Oracle Eloqua to manage fan journey automation and personalization.
  • Build touchpoint templates for internal stakeholders and oversee team email and SMS calendar. Drive efficiency in project processes.
  • Develop & distribute digital best practices to internal stakeholders.
  • Develop & execute SMS marketing & ticket sales playbook. The Texans currently use Oracle Eloqua to manage SMS marketing.
  • Build buyflow/landing page best practices, monitor/improve landing page conversion rate, and apply/monitor attribution/tracking.
  • Manage data flows between email marketing software, CRM, data center.
  • Develop monetizable assets in the digital marketing space for the corporate partnerships team to sell against & add to menu.
  • Perform various other tasks as assigned from time to time by Digital Media Director.
 
Position requires routine face-to-face personal interaction with other Club personnel and fans at NRG Stadium and/or NRG Park during Houston Texans football games and other Club events; therefore, job responsibilities must be physically performed in the Club offices and/or at NRG Stadium/NRG Park as may be assigned and not in a telecommuting manner.

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university preferred.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • 2-3 years managing digital marketing programs or working closely with digital data streams.
  • Experience managing digital marketing automation software (eg, Oracle Eloqua, SFMC) or working as part of a team using this software
