Basic Function: Support the efforts of the Business Analytics and Technology Department while delivering analytical and database management support to key business units throughout the Houston Texans organization and Lone Star Sports and Entertainment.
 
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to all Texans and LSSE business units where appropriate.
  • Perform daily/monthly/weekly analytical and ticketing activities, to include, but not be limited to: 
  • Tableau dashboard refreshes
  • Sales rep account management
  • Survey creation, reporting and analysis
  • Secondary price monitoring, reporting and analysis
  • Dynamic pricing analysis
  • Data capture form creation
  • Assist with CRM maintenance, pricing analysis, and additional projects
  • Research and report findings to stakeholders using third-party research tools
  • Participate in various research projects
  • Perform manual data entry tasks
  • Execute and distribute daily and weekly reports to various users as assigned.  
  • Perform various other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the SVP of Business Analytics and Insights and Senior Business Intelligence Analyst.
Subject to reasonable accommodations, position requires routine face-to-face personal interaction with other Club personnel; therefore, job responsibilities must be physically performed in the Club offices and not in a telecommuting manner.

Skills Required:
  • Prior experience/knowledge in Tableau and SQL.
  • Strong analytical and logic skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks. 
  • Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communications.
  • Ability to maintain attention to detail and to produce high-quality work in accordance with directions given.  
  • Ability to maintain confidential and/or proprietary information.
  • Display strong interpersonal skills and the ability to create and maintain solid working relationships. 

Education/Experience:
  • Completion of, or in pursuit of, a bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited university with a focus of Business Analytics, Information Systems, Sports Management, or Computer Science preferred.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Analysis, data quality and data management experience strongly preferred.
  • Customer service and/or sales background a plus.
