 Basic Function: 

Staff will be tasked with operating our Bag Check stations, handling credit card transactions, and securely storing fans' bags/items that do not comply with NRG Park’s Clear Bag Policy. 

  Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Securely handle credit card transactions
• Store bags in an organized & efficient manner
• Interact with fans in a positive and respectful manner
• Perform various other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the Event Operations Coordinator

Position requires routine face-to-face personal interaction with other Club personnel and fans at NRG Stadium and/or NRG Park during Houston Texans football games and other Club events; therefore, job responsibilities must be physically performed in the Club offices and/or at NRG Stadium/NRG Park as may be assigned and not in a telecommuting manner. 

Subject to reasonable accommodations, position requires face-to-face personal interaction with other Club personnel and fans at Houston Texans home games, at other Houston Texans sponsored events held in and around NRG Stadium and/or NRG Park and at other locations in the Houston metropolitan area; therefore, responsibilities must be physically performed at the designated location and not in a telecommuting manner.

  Education/Experience: 

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a high-energy environment.
• Exhibit a fun, friendly, customer service-oriented attitude and professional appearance at all times.
• Ability to process credit card transactions using a portable credit card reader.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with fans and other employees.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction to complete personal goals and as a team member to accomplish department goals.
• Ability and internal drive to demonstrate a winning attitude and a strong work ethic in the performance of all job responsibilities.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work outside for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Must be able to talk, stand, walk, sit, drive, bend, squat, climb, twist, and reach as necessary.
