The Social Assistant will support Raiders Social & Digital in the execution and publishing of social across all platforms. Responsibilities include emerging social media trends and may include covering team and organizational events. Candidate should be a confident, self-starting individual with a passion for fast, accurate content that serves Raiders fans everywhere.
The ideal candidate can work on multiple projects during the week, has great organizational skills, is a strong communicator and works well under tight deadlines. This is an entry level position that will expose the candidate to all aspects of professional social media curation and execution. 

Essential Job Functions:
  • Performs the role with an ‘always on’ approach to digital and social media.
  • Contributes to and executes the social media strategy for the Las Vegas Raiders as well as other Brand accounts. 
  • Creatively engages a wide range of sports fans and influencers in the region on social media ahead of, and during, Raider events to build audience by posting social assets and cutting live highlights.
  • Supports sponsorship and marketing activations through social and digital platforms.
  • Coordinate work with content creators and ambassadors to amplify social media engagement strategies.
  • Assist in maintaining the Raiders social media calendar and posting schedule to maximize impact of posts.
  • Assist the manager with creative requests and asset delivery for Raiders social media and digital channels.
  • Generates custom social media analytics reports using social media platforms native insights and analytics tools.
  • Tracks content against KPIs, identifying trends and best practices.
  • Engage in community management.
  • Ability to understand fan sentiment and club/player narratives to help drive content creation.
  • Real-time coverage of games and events.
  • Recognize and react to real-time, emerging trends and current events to create content for distribution across social channels.
  • Maintain digital content libraries and social media tools to stay current with evolving platforms.

Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to work on multiple projects on tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Preferred experience in social management and working knowledge of Adobe and Premiere Pro
  • Great attitude with a team player mentality, as well as excellent attention to detail and ability to self-edit
  • Strong understanding of established and emerging social platforms including but not limited to Twitter, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook
  • Reliable, mature, professional, positive attitude, and excellent organizational skills
  • Preferred understanding of NFL rules, teams, players, and culture 
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as needed 

Physical Aspects of Position (includes but are not limited to):
  • Sitting for long periods of time throughout shift 
  • Occasional lifting and carrying up to 25lbs
  • Occasional walking, standing, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling
