As the Human Resources Coordinator, you will provide day to day support to the team on key HR initiatives that touch all aspects of the employee lifecycle including hiring and onboarding tasks, company communication execution, and maintaining employee data on paper and within HRIS.
Essential Job Functions
- Responsible for the day-to-day administrative support of various Human Resources programs including but not limited to: Employment, Onboarding, Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) & Reporting.
- Assist with the execution of pre-employment and onboarding activities with new hires including system data entry, timely completion of the background checks process and pre-day-one communications as they prepare to start.
- Ensure applicants provide all required compliance documentation in a timely manner.
- Support various employee engagement initiatives by executing related administrative tasks.
- Assist with pre-event staff credential activations.
- Own Employment verifications and unemployment data request responses.
- Maintain, monitor and audit employee data within ADP.
- Generate reports and analyses, as requested by HR leadership (trends, turnover, compensation, workforce demographics, recruitment metrics, compliance including federal, state, and club specific).
- Own the HR Support Inbox to support employees and answer general HR inquiries.
- Work closely with ADP external stakeholders for reporting and data entry troubleshooting.
- Own, update and manage various trackers to support the HR team with company initiatives such as training and recruiting activities.
- Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Collaborate with internal HR and Payroll partners on projects.
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of HR files and records.
- Work as an HR representative during Raider’s home games as needed.
- Own the organization, inventory and upkeep of the HR storage room.
- Work with HR leadership to develop new communications programs/strategy to improve internal communications and execute those communications.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 2+ years of administrative HR experience required.
- HRIS experience required, preferably with ADP.
- Working understanding of HR principles and practices and how they may affect company policies and procedures.
- Intermediate knowledge and experience working with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work accurately, with strong attention to detail.
- Must maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Ability to work extended hours and flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical Aspects of Position (includes but are not limited to):
- Sitting for long periods of time throughout shift
- Occasional lifting and carrying up to 25lbs
- Occasional walking, standing, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling
