The Human Resources Coordinator provides critical operational and administrative support to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts across the Organization. Working under the guidance of the Senior Director, Diversity, Inclusion & Employee Experience, this role helps bring strategic initiatives to life through coordination, communication, and program execution. The Human Resources Coordinator will collaborate across departments, support employee resource groups (ERGs), assist in organizing internal events and educational opportunities, and maintain key tracking and reporting systems. This is an ideal position for a detail-oriented, relationship-driven team player looking to grow in the DEI space.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Assist in the execution of organization-wide diversity, inclusion programs, policies, and events that align with the Organization’s vision for an inclusive workplace.
  • Coordinate logistics for diversity and inclusion education sessions, ERG meetings, and initiatives.
  • Support the development of listening strategies by coordinating surveys, focus groups, 1:1 conversation, and other feedback channels.
  • Provide administrative support to ERG leaders including program development, communication assistance, and events support.
  • Track ERG initiatives and budgets; assist in aligning activities to strategic goals and cultural priorities.
  • Assist in creating content for internal diversity and inclusion communications, including newsletters, campaigns, and intranet updates.
  • Provide support with internal and external diversity and inclusion communication strategy that includes a compelling employee value proposition and reinforces a culture of belonging.
  • Support research and tracking for supplier diversity efforts in partnership with Finance. 
  • Maintain a contact list and resource bank of minority-, women-, and veteran-owned businesses.
  • Help maintain relationships with local, national, and industry-specific diversity and inclusion partners and community organizations.
  • Represent the department in staff meetings or working groups as assigned.
  • Support data collection for diversity and inclusion dashboards, surveys, or initiative metrics.
  • Maintain organized documentation of diversity and inclusion plans, reports, and resources.
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
  • 2+ years administrative experience providing support across multiple levels 
  • Exposure working in Human Resources and/or DEI preferred.
  • Must be detail-oriented and extremely organized with the ability to learn new programs and procedures quickly.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to multi-task and prioritize.  
  • An ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people and constituents with a variety of potentially divergent interests and have sensitivity dealing with confidential information.
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 
  • Must be flexible regarding work hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Aspects of Position (includes but are not limited to):
  • Sitting for long periods of time throughout shift 
  • Occasional lifting and carrying up to 25lbs
  • Occasional walking, standing, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling
