As the Bilingual Digital Content and Social Media Coordinator you will shape and execute digital content and social media strategy, while working closely with multiple departments to create awareness and develop initiatives that enhance the brand in the international market. The position will focus on creating social platforms as well as creating and sharing content while working closely with the VP of Revenue Planning and Analytics and internationally based agencies, primarily located in Mexico City.

Essential Job Functions 
  • Performs the role with an ‘always on’ approach to digital and social media
  • Contributes to and executes the social media strategy for Raiders Mexico
  • Works with multiple departments and stakeholders create/publish/distribute original written content that’s published on our web sites and mobile app
  • Ability to shoot and produce short video content for digital, social and editorial distribution
  • Creatively engages a wide range of sports fans and influencers in the region on social media ahead of, and during, Raider events to build audience by posting social assets and cutting live highlights
  • Supports sponsorship and marketing activations through social and digital platforms
  • Coordinate work with content creators and ambassadors to amplify social media engagement strategies
  • Maintains daily/weekly social media calendar and posting schedule to maximize impact of posts
  • Manages creative requests and asset delivery for Raiders social media and digital channels
  • Generates custom social media analytics reports using social media platforms native insights and analytics tools
  • Tracks content KPIs, identifying trends and best practices
  • Assist in scheduling and implementing a daily/weekly/monthly social media content calendar
  • Ability to understand fan sentiment and club/player narratives to help drive content creation
  • Real-time coverage of games and events
  • Maintain and update social media channels during home and away games
  • Recognize and react to real-time, emerging trends and current events to create content for distribution across social channels
  • Maintain digital content libraries and social media tools to stay current with evolving platform

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience in media or sports social media required
  • Must be able to read, write and speak both English and Spanish fluently
  • Prior experience in translation services is a strong asset
  • Passion for and experience in social media marketing, with strong understanding of trends and best practices
  • Experience in sports marketing, special events, or media/entertainment industry
  • Knowledge of the Raiders and it’s athletes and personalities
  • Photography and videography experience
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a multi-task, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Hardworking and self-motivated
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Creative and adept at Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and/or InDesign and editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro or After Effects is an asset
  • A basic understanding of the sporting broadcast landscape and live rights and restrictions
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft products and the ability to learn other basic computer programs
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally 10% of the time
  • Ability maintain confidential information
  • Passion for social media marketing, with strong understanding of trends and best practices

Physical Aspects of Position (includes but are not limited to):
  • Sitting for long periods of time throughout shift
  • Occasional lifting and carrying up to 25lbs
  • Occasional walking, standing, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling
