SUMMARY: This position will be a key member of the Revenue Team, who is responsible for the sales of season and other game tickets, the servicing of season ticket members, the sales of premium hospitality and the sales of corporate partnerships and media programming.


This role will work closely with the Premium Sales Team, the Corporate Partnership Sales Team, the Ticket Sales, Service and Operations Team, as well as other internal stakeholders. This role will primarily report to the Director, Premium Sales, but will work closely with the Coordinator, Ticket Sales & Service for day-to-day assignments, training programs and other duties as assigned by the Director, Premium Sales and Director, Ticket Sales & Service. A rotation of assignments throughout the entire Revenue Team should be expected, as the Associate will complete the year-long engagement with a keen understanding of all phases of revenue development, generation, preservation and maintenance.


In addition to the duties described above, the Revenue Team Associate will take part in the Vikings’ exclusive Leadership Development Program. This program will provide regular opportunities for professional development, exposure to organizational leadership and the ability to develop skills critical for the Associate’s future career growth. A fundamental part of the program will include clearly defined goals between the Associate and their Supervisor that will be tracked and measured for progress throughout the term of the program.

This is a temporary full-time position and expected to conclude at the end of May 2022, unless otherwise determined.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  
  • Assist Corporate Partnership Sales team members in leveraging hospitality and media products and creating urgency to close new and renewed partnerships
  • Work with the Director, Premium Sales to manage annual and single-game hospitality inventory
  • As requested by the Director, Premium Sales, collaborate with the Business Analytics and True North Design Teams to both optimize internal database sales support/reporting procedures and to develop engaging brand creative utilized for effective premium sales marketing campaigns
  • Work with the Director, Ticket Sales & Service to develop season ticket member engagement efforts, as well as SBL account holder communication efforts
  • Work with the Senior Manager, Ticket Operations to coordinate payment collection efforts for tickets and premium hospitality elements
  • Attend to stakeholders at Team events and at games, as well represent the Team at various other networking events, as determined by the Team
  • Other miscellaneous projects as assigned

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Excellent organizational abilities to handle multiple tasks, establish priorities, and consistently meet deadlines
  • Experience in customer sales and service and a willingness to handle inbound phone calls and provide exceptional customer service
  • Make outgoing calls relating to various ticket sales and customer service initiatives such as selling ticket packages, collecting season ticket payments, coordinating SBL account holder communications and providing digital ticketing education
  • High-energy level and be a self-motivated team player
  • Understands the need for data integrity and pays attention to maintaining accurate and timely data
  • An effective communicator orally and written with excellent interpersonal skills and a willingness to engage in high volume of telemarketing sales and service efforts
  • Be customer focused (with both external and internal prospects, partners and stakeholders)
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to be aggressive, polished and poised
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or another related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM management and Archtics
  • Available to work extended hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
