Summary: 
 
The Youth Football Staff Assistant is vital to the success of the Miami Dolphins’ efforts to grow the game of football in South Florida and designated international regions. This role encompasses responsibilities in part-time staff recruitment, participant data tracking, program logistics, customer service management, and leading assigned Youth Football activations. The position reports directly to the Manager of Youth Football and provides support across the department.

  • This is a part-time/hourly position based on site at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Customer Service: Maintain timely and accurate communication with parents/guardians, coaches, and other youth athletic stakeholders. Manage the Youth Football mailbox and voicemail while maintaining FAQs to address inquiries about camps, clinics, and other Junior Dolphins programs.
  • Recruitment: Assist with resume reviews, planning and executing interview days, and managing candidate communications for part-time roles within the department.
  • Program Logistics: Support the Youth Football department with camps, clinics, and other operations. Manage equipment, signage, participant apparel needs, and giveaway inventory necessary for program execution.
  • Participant Tracking: Keep records of program participant data and waivers. Aid in administering surveys and feedback mechanisms.
  • Community Engagement: Lead assigned community programs such as school/team football donations and community youth football pop-ups.
  • Brand Management: Represent the Junior Dolphins and Miami Dolphins brand within the community. Build relationships with coaches and athletic administrators while promoting awareness of Junior Dolphins offerings both internally and externally.
  • Please note that this role may require operating Junior Dolphins vehicles for specified events/activations, along with performing other related duties as assigned.

  • A keen attention to detail paired with strong organizational skills to streamline processes effectively.
  • A team player who demonstrates flexibility in various situations.
  • Excellent communication skills combined with a strong customer service orientation.
  • An enthusiastic mindset that fosters creativity while thinking strategically as well as tactically.
  • A background or experience in football (both tackle and flag) is preferred.
  • The candidate must pass a background check for working with minors; a clean driving record is also required.
