Manager, Stadium Event Operations

Status: Full-time
 
Summary:
The Manager, Stadium Event Operations supports the day-to-day function of the Stadium Operations team and acts as primary on-site contact for assigned special events. This role is responsible for oversight of the Stadium Master Calendar and leads cross-functional relationships with both internal and external parties to ensure a high standard of hospitality for all events at Hard Rock Stadium.
 
Location:
This is a full-time position based on site at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee stadium master calendar, manage the booking and scheduling process of all events and construction projects to provide real time updates and communication across the enterprise.
  • Lead weekly meetings with internal teams to review staffing, vendor coordination, event set-up and breakdown and overall logistics for upcoming events.
  • Responsible for providing event estimates, submitting invoices and assisting the Finance Department with settlements for all events.
  • Oversee the Event Management Software program for booking all events.
  • Serve as the on-site Stadium Operations contact for corporate and other special events by attending event planning meetings, client walkthroughs and overall execution of the event.
  • Responsible for the management and development of all policies and procedures within the department to ensure a high-quality standard, cost effective approach and guest focused operation.
  • Manage hospitality needs for major events including, but not limited to football, concerts, and soccer.
  • Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of all event spaces, public areas, and service areas.
  • Create and communicate post event notes upon completion of event.
  • Participate as manager on duty for assigned stadium events.
  • Assist with Stadium CAPEX projects
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • 1+ year of full-time supervisory experience in facility management or special events.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related area.
  • Preferred AutoCAD software experience.
  • Working knowledge of special event operations and facility management.
  • Must be solution oriented and can work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management, communication skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage various projects and personnel simultaneously.
  • Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
