Summary:
 
The Manager of Revenue Analytics & Insights will report to and assist the Senior Director of Analytics in defining and implementing analytics initiatives and strategic thinking to achieve business goals across the Miami Dolphins, Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix, Miami Open, and Hard Rock Stadium events. This role will manage a team of analysts and be responsible for providing coaching and development of the team. We are looking for a team member who can take data and turn it into meaningful insights to create compelling presentations that enable our organization to make data-driven decisions.

  • This is a full-time position based on site at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL.

Responsibilities:
 
  • The priority of this role will be to create presentation decks that deliver analytical insights to stakeholders across multiple tentpole business events (renewals, pricing, event recaps) and different departments
  • Transform complex data into actionable insights through effective presentation and communication skills
  • Leverage advanced data analytics and statistics to answer complex business questions and provide business impacting insights and recommendations that help shape future strategic decision making.
  • Deliver a broad range of analytical functional responsibilities: predictive analytics/modeling, pricing strategy, customer research and segmentation, and marketing analytics
  • Nurture relationship with NFL data team to ensure the Miami Dolphins are league leading in usage of data and benchmarking against league performance thresholds
  • Collaborate effectively with all departments to establish reliable and meaningful reporting standards while providing quantitative and logical support as needed
  • Serve as a key leader on the insights team, providing support and guidance to other members of the team
  • Manage team project timelines and deliverables, ensuring effective distribution of projects, balancing workloads and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:
 
  • Bachelor’s Degree required — Analytics, Statistics, Math, Economics, Marketing, or Business Administration with emphasis in one of the previously listed disciplines
  • 4+ years experience in analytical strategy roles
  • Expertise in SQL (A SQL assessment will be part of the interview process)
  • Experience with executive level communication, including proficiency in creating leadership-ready PowerPoint decks (A short presentation will be part of the interview process)
  • Experience with Databricks preferred.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (preferably Power BI, Tableau experience is acceptable)
  • Communicates well and works effectively across disciplines (sales, marketing, IT, finance, etc.)
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter who can operate with minimal guidance and is proactive in identifying growth opportunities for the organization
