Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Summary:
The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will manage, monitor, and optimize our cloud-based environments. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), a knack for automation, and a passion for reliability and scalability.
Location:
- This is a full-time position based on site at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL.
Responsibilities:
- Deploy, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure and services
- Act as a cloud subject matter expert, guiding team through the design, architecture, and deployment of secure solutions in AWS and Azure using automation tools
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security
- Automate workflows using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or ARM templates
- Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Development teams to support application deployment and scaling
- Implement and manage cloud backup, disaster recovery, and failover systems
- Contribute to disaster recovery, business continuity, data backup & restoration, and related auditing & verification activities to ensure the integrity and availability of our cloud environments
- Ensure compliance with security and governance standards
- Stay up to date on cloud technologies and recommend improvements
- Maintain and improve documentation of systems and processes/procedures to enable cross-team collaboration and knowledge sharing
- This position may require wearing multiple hats at times and supporting the Technology team on various projects as needed. Some weekend availability will also be required to provide support during event days.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in managing cloud environments, including architecture, deployment, and automation in AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
- Strong understanding of networking, firewalls, and security groups
- Proficiency with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, etc.)
- Certification(s) like AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or Azure Administrator Associate is a plus
- Experience deploying enterprise Copilot AI is a plus
