Position Summary:
The Senior Manager of Partnership Management will provide strategic management between the partners and internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our partnership assets and solutions with a focus on driving revenue and building relationships. Day-to-day responsibilities include corporate partnership account management, activation, and contract fulfillment for assigned corporate partners with a focus on first class service, retention, and up-selling. They will be expected to carry out various duties, including but not limited to: account management, customer-centric and solution-based activations, and campaign management; upselling into new platforms, assets and opportunities; co-branded marketing throughout our partner’s channels; relationship building with all key partner constituents; sales marketing to enhance awareness of our best practices and value proposition; and recapping for proof of performance and building success stories.
 
The Senior Manager of Partnership Management will act as a leader within the Corporate Partnerships Services team and provide guidance, mentorship, and perspective.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
Execution and Implementation of Partnership Assets and Deliverables:
  • Internal fulfillment/activation efforts for assigned partnership agreements & programming, including internal (Chargers Marketing and Legal) and external (NFL and Partner) approvals.
  • Inventory tracking & fulfillment process utilizing CRM software (KORE/Salesforce).
  • Creative trafficking process and management (internally & externally).
  • Become an extension of each partner and be a conduit between internal/external by deeply understanding partner marketing objectives.
  • Effectively communicate partner marketing objectives internally and understand our assets to help drive messaging.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams including marketing, digital, ticketing, business solutions, community, and communications teams for campaign & product positioning.
  • Work collaboratively with Legal to ensure contracts are completed and updated.
  • Work with finance to ensure cost of sale expenses are managed accurately, as well as revenues are collected in a timely manner.
 
Revenue Generation and Inventory Ideation:
  • Identify upsell and revenue growth opportunities within existing partnerships.
  • Utilize research & data analysis to position campaigns, shift assets as needed, and deliver proof of performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to conceptualize, build, and deliver new partner-focused products/platforms.
 
 
 
 
Partner Communication and Relationships:
  • Build strong relationships with partners and establish trust that contracts will be fulfilled to completion.
  • Work to identify synergies between priorities/initiatives and corporate partner objectives.
  • Strengthen relationships with partners and identify value-add opportunities.
  • Provide regular and consistent communication including recaps, reporting, and proof of performance updates.
  • Execution of partner hospitality events with assigned accounts.
  • Execution of touchpoints and shared tracking documents with assigned accounts.
 
Qualifications, Skills, and Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in partnership marketing, sponsorship sales, or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering successful campaigns and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of the sports industry, including sports sponsorship, event marketing, and branding.
  • Experience managing relationships with sponsors, partners, and other key stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven marketing and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to set priorities and deliver results within tight deadlines.
