The Los Angeles Chargers are seeking an experienced, high-performing finance professional to join our team. This role will be responsible for assisting in the budgeting, financial reporting, and financial analysis processes for the Los Angeles Chargers. This is a full-time onsite position based in El Segundo.

Responsibilities 
·         This role will report directly to the FP&A Manager and work on building/enhancing FP&A processes and models. 

·         The Senior Financial Analyst will also work closely with accounting team members in preparing and presenting the Company's internal and external financial reports, including National Football League reporting requirements. 

·         Additionally, this individual will assist in creating, maintaining, and enhancing the budgeting, reporting, and forecasting processes. 

·         The selected candidate will work cross-functionally with department heads throughout the organization on their budgets and variance analysis including ad hoc requests and questions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
  • 3-5 years of experience in finance and accounting
  • Mid-sized ($250M+ revenue) or complex early-stage company experience
  • Big 4 accounting experience / CPA preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel a must
  • Strong understanding of financial/accounting principles and concepts, including financial reporting, modeling, and budgeting
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Good analytical acumen in financial analysis and reporting, ensuring that insights and conclusions are based on reliable data and thorough analysis
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, and time management skills
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset and proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to maintain confidential information of the utmost importance
  • Experience with NetSuite and Vena Solutions desirable
  • Prior sports, entertainment, live events or related experience preferred
