POSITION SUMMARY
The Los Angeles Chargers are seeking motivated, detail-oriented Seasonal Communications Assistants to support the Communications Department during the 2026 NFL season.

TWO OPPORTUNITIES ARE AVAILABLE:
  • Full-Season Seasonal Assistant: June 2026 through the conclusion of the 2026 season
  • Training Camp Seasonal Assistant: July 2026 through August 2026 

The full-season role offers comprehensive, hands-on experience in professional sports communications, providing exposure to football operations, media relations, and marketing communications within an NFL organization.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking practical experience in professional sports communications within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Assist with daily administrative functions of the Communications Department, including compiling media clips, transcribing press conferences, monitoring media coverage, and setting up/managing the Media Center. 
  • Support the Communications team during media availability periods and press conferences. 
  • Contribute to football communications materials by researching statistics, historical notes, and game information for weekly game releases and flip cards.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Communications staff to support the Chargers’ influencer/VIP program, Corporate Communications initiatives and Alumni programming.
  • Assist with home game operations, including credential management, press box setup, VIP and influencer hosting, and other gameday administrative responsibilities.
  • Support communications efforts for additional team events such as influencer activations, Legends Weekend, and non-football press conferences, including event planning and execution. 

Candidate Requirements:
  • Full-season candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Ability to work 40+ hours per week, including all Chargers home games.
  • Prior communications experience—such as compiling daily media clips, transcribing press conferences, and managing media accreditation (ACCREDIT)—is preferred.
  • Demonstrated strong writing and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Maintain a consistently professional demeanor and thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

Applicant must:
●      Have authorization to work in the United States.
●      Have a current driver’s license

This position will pay $17.87 an hour. 

General Information:
Seasonal employees are responsible for their own housing, travel, and relocation expenses. A mandatory background check will be conducted.
