ORGANIZATION SUMMARY:
The Los Angeles Chargers Impact Fund is the 501(c)3 nonprofit organization of the Los Angeles Chargers. The Impact Fund envisions a welcoming and caring Los Angeles where everyone feels like part of a community and all things seem possible. The Impact Fund brings people together to empower youth, generate access and create opportunity in under-resourced neighborhoods so today’s dreams can become tomorrow’s reality. 

The 50/50 Raffle is one of the largest fundraisers for the Impact Fund, and it raises important funds to support the foundation’s programs and initiatives. In addition, the raffle is a fun and engaging way to generate excitement among fans, while supporting a good cause. This position will assist in the implementation and promotion of the 50/50 Raffle. 

The Chargers Impact Fund conducts a 50/50 Raffle at all home games (including preseason and playoff games). Every game, fans have the opportunity to purchase a raffle ticket from our sellers located throughout all stadium levels. Once sales are completed, a winning ticket is announced in the 4th Quarter and/or online. The total jackpot for the game will be divided with 50% of the proceeds awarded to the person with the winning number and 50% benefiting the Los Angeles Chargers Impact Fund. 

POSITION:
The Chargers Impact Fund is looking for dependable, highly motivated, hard-working, and enthusiastic individuals to join our 50/50 Raffle sales team for the 2025 football season! Multiple positions are available.

 Schedules for the 50/50 Raffle Sales Team will be set at the sole discretion of the Los Angeles Chargers and may vary depending upon seller availability and performance. Sellers will be employed at will and are not guaranteed any minimum number of hours or shifts. This paid position is a seasonal position through the end of the regular season with the potential for additional postseason games. The position will report to the Manager of the Chargers Impact Fund. The Pay Rate for this position is $18.00 an hour.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  1.  Approach fans pre-game and in-game to explain the details of the 50/50 Raffle Program. 
  2. Educate Chargers fans on the details of the 50/50 Raffle Program, and answer any questions regarding the Chargers Impact Fund, or other beneficiaries.
  3. Must be able to accurately handle the sale and distribution of tickets and credit card transactions using handheld sales devices and follow all program requirements. 
  4. Work to meet and/or exceed individual and team designated sales goals per game. 

Candidate Qualifications and Requirements: 
  • High school diploma or equivalent education required. 
  • Prior cash handling / sales experience strongly preferred.
  •  Must be able to work the Los Angeles Chargers home games during the 2025 Season.
  • Candidates must have a flexible schedule that allows them to workday or nights, weekends, and holidays if necessary.
  • Shifts are approximately 7 hours each.
  • Must be a team player with a commitment to relationship building.
  • Must be comfortable with technology used for 50/50 (handheld credit card devices)
  • Positive attitude with ability to work within small or large groups of people.
  • Self-starter who will consistently strive to increase their individual 50/50 raffle ticket sales.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Strong sales skills: a background in sales or marketing is strongly encouraged.
  • Must be able to stand/walk up and down stairs for long periods of time. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable an individual with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Reliable transportation to SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA.
