Team Travel & Logistics Fellow
 
The Los Angeles Rams Team Travel & Logistics Fellowship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience within an NFL Team Travel & Logistics department while contributing meaningfully to the daily operations of the organization. This role provides exposure across key areas of football operations, including team travel, training camp logistics, player support, communication systems, and event execution.
 
The Fellow will serve as an integral member of the Team Travel & Logistics department, with ownership over key operational responsibilities throughout the football calendar. This role is structured to foster professional growth through mentorship, cross-functional collaboration, and exposure to the inner workings of an NFL organization.
 
This role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
 
Role Responsibilities: 
  • Support all aspects of team travel, including advancing travel logistics in away cities, coordinating hotel and meeting space setup, updating travel manifests, building stadium and travel guides, and supporting gameday operational execution.
  • Manage and maintain Teamworks, ensuring schedules, itineraries, travel information, operational updates, and organizational resources are accurate and up to date.
  • Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of Training Camp operations, including hotel and dormitory setup, staff and player check-in processes, daily logistical movements, operational scheduling, practice support, and fan-facing events.
  • Serve as a key liaison between the Team Travel & Logistics department and internal/external stakeholders, including team staff, hotel partners, vendors, training camp personnel, and third-party contractors.
  • Support rookie onboarding and player engagement initiatives, including coordinating travel logistics, assisting with onboarding schedules, preparing organizational resources, and ensuring a seamless transition into the organization.
  • Assist with the execution of player tryouts, free agent visits, OTA logistics, offseason programming, and other football-related operational events throughout the calendar year.
  • Maintain and update operational manuals, calendars, resource guides, databases, and department tracking systems to ensure organizational accuracy and continuity.
  • Assist with departmental budgeting, reconciliation, inventory tracking, and operational reporting as assigned.
  • Participate in organizational planning meetings, offseason operational projects, and future travel preparation for upcoming seasons.
  • Support cross-functional staff as a collaborative and solutions-oriented team member while taking initiative and ownership over assigned projects and responsibilities.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 1-3 years of experience (3+ preferred) in athletics, football operations, event operations, travel coordination, or a related field
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to exercise professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality when handling sensitive organizational information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and operational software platforms such as Teamworks preferred.
  • Self-starter with a team-first mentality and willingness to take ownership over projects and operational areas.
Additional Requirements:
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed (travel required for away-game trips) 
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and perform physical duties associated with team events, travel, and training camp. 
Pay Range: $21-$23 per hour, commensurate with experience. This role is eligible for overtime pay.
