The Los Angeles Rams are seeking an innovative and strategic Sr. Manager, Marketing Analytics & Consumer Insights to lead the organization's marketing and media analytics function, transforming data into a competitive advantage through sophisticated methodologies that produce meaningful insights and recommendations.  This leader will define and execute the Rams analytics vision, develop a multi-year analytics roadmap that includes capitalizing on AI investment, and partner with senior leadership to drive data-informed decision making that improves fan engagement, operational effectiveness, and revenue growth.  In addition, they will partner with ticketing, sponsorship, and community teams to produce models, performance and market analysis, and presentation materials. 

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Develop and lead the marketing + media analytics and consumer insights strategy for the Los Angeles Rams, including performance analysis, consumer research, fan segmentation, brand measurement, media evaluation, and market intelligence. 
  • Own the analytics roadmap, prioritizing initiatives that generate measurable business value across marketing, media, and revenue functions. 
  • Develop advanced analytical frameworks, predictive models, forecasting capabilities, segmentation strategies, attribution methodologies, and incorporate AI that improves sophistication and efficiency. 
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing analytics and consumer insights team by training on advanced techniques, prioritizing team’s workload, creating methods to ensure quality deliverables, and multiplying the department’s impact on the org.
  • Establish executive KPI frameworks, reporting standards, dashboards, and self-service analytics solutions. 
  • Partner with senior leaders to influence strategic decisions through data-driven recommendations and business insights. 
  • Collaborate with Marketing Technology on data governance, data quality, audience identity resolution, and fan data strategy initiatives. 
  • Evaluate and implement analytics technologies and vendor solutions that will bring a trajectory change in capabilities. 
  • Champion analytics adoption and data literacy across the organization. 

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
  • Incremental revenue, brand affinity, and fan growth influenced by analytics-driven initiatives. 
  • Forecast accuracy for revenue, event, digital, and annual projections. 
  • Improvement in retention, renewal, engagement, and lifetime value metrics. 
  • Executive dashboard adoption and self-service analytics utilization. 
  • Stakeholder satisfaction with analytics services and decision support. 
  • Data accuracy and quality of deliverables. 
  • Percentage of analytics roadmap initiatives delivered on time and on budget. 
  • Adoption of segmentation, personalization, and advanced analytics across campaigns. 
  • Team engagement, development, and retention. 

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Business, Marketing, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. 
  • 10+ years of experience in analytics, consumer insights, business intelligence, and related disciplines. 
  • 5+ years of experience leading analytics, consumer insights, or business intelligence teams. 
  • Expertise in SQL, Python, R, Power BI, Tableau, and modern data visualization platforms. 
  • Strong experience building measurement frameworks, executive dashboards, forecasting models, segmentation strategies, and AI capabilities related to brand marketing, performance marketing, and owned & operated media. 
  • Proven history of generating significant insights that lead to successful new business strategies.
  • Strong understanding of CRM, fan data ecosystems, data warehouses and platforms, and digital analytics. 
  • Experience developing market surveys and guiding qualitative + quantitative first-party data collection.
  • Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives. 
  • Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to executive leadership. 
 
Salary: $105,000/yr. - $120,000/yr.
