Sr. Manager, Facilities (Practice Facility)
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Sr. Manager, Facilities to lead the daily operations, maintenance, and long-term planning of the Rams practice facility. This role oversees building systems, housekeeping, vendor management, and event support, including Training Camp and other special events.
The ideal candidate has advanced knowledge in HVAC, refrigeration, or electrical systems, and demonstrates strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. This role requires the ability to work collaboratively across departments, maintain compliance with local codes, and adapt to a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
This role will be onsite daily at our Woodland Hills Practice Facility.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of daily facility maintenance and cleanliness, including daily inspections and repairs, scheduling of routine maintenance (weekly, monthly, annually), and ensuring timely response to urgent needs, particularly in football operations areas.
- Oversee all housekeeping duties and outside services, including establishing cleaning protocols (daily, weekly, monthly, as needed), ensuring proper staffing during peak times, arranging supplemental coverage for special events, and coordinating supply needs for cleaning staff.
- Maintain therapy pool, steam room, and sauna by scheduling maintenance and cleaning, and coordinating necessary supplies.
- Maintain professional relationships with local utility companies, serving as the main point of contact in emergencies, troubleshooting issues as needed, and tracking industry trends for budgeting and future planning.
- Maintain required building inspections and certifications in compliance with the State of California, Los Angeles County, and the City of Woodland Hills.
- Manage vendor relationships by evaluating qualifications, scheduling services as needed, establishing protocols for repeat vendors, and maintaining a system to track and approve billing.
- Proactively identify and recommend annual capital improvements based on facility needs and long-term planning.
- Oversee special building projects from design through completion, including managing the design process, obtaining bids, creating project budgets and timelines, and supervising contractors during construction.
- Coordinate with grounds staff to maintain a clean and professional building perimeter, including upkeep of fencing and exterior signage.
- Maintain key inventory and authorization access levels, issue keys to new hires, and collaborate with the Director of Security to ensure building coverage and effective communication during facility incidents.
- Participate on the planning team for Training Camp and special events; coordinate outside vendors, event load-ins and load-outs, and special deliveries as needed.
- Supervise Facilities Manager, including establishing work schedules to ensure building coverage, overseeing supply purchases from selected vendors, and overseeing use and maintenance of tools and equipment.
- Coordinate organizational storage needs and assess upcoming departmental requirements.

Job Requirements:
- 5–10 years of progressive facilities management experience, including 3+ years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Advanced understanding of HVAC, refrigeration, or electrical engineering; expertise in multiple areas is a plus.
- General maintenance background and industry certifications preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Proven ability to lead special projects, manage vendors, oversee budgets, and ensure compliance with local, county, and state regulations.
- Extremely organized and detail oriented, resourceful, quick learner and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Highly skilled in time management and proactive planning; consistently meets deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
- Computer proficient and experienced in developing maintenance schedules, housekeeping protocols, and storage solutions.
- Must be available to work flexible schedule that will include evenings, holidays and weekends.
- Commitment to overseeing an NFL team facility with pride, ensuring it remains the premier facility within allocated resources.
- This is an onsite role – remote work is not available.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods.
- Capability to climb ladders, stairs, and access confined spaces as needed.
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Must be able to inspect mechanical systems, equipment, and building infrastructure in various environments, including outdoor areas.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions when inspecting or overseeing outdoor work.
- Capacity to respond quickly and physically to emergency situations as required.
Annual Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000. Exact compensation may vary depending on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
