Sponsorship Sales & Activation: Corporate Sponsorship Sales

This Manager, Partnership Insights role leads partner insights and measurement for the broader Partnerships group, playing a critical part in both partner acquisition and current partner success. As the group’s data lead, primary responsibilities include monitoring, reporting, and optimizing current partner campaigns across channels and conducting research to support the sponsorship sales team’s efforts. 

 The ideal candidate has proven excellence in analyzing numbers and interpreting what they mean and is a proactive problem-solver. This unique hybrid role is best suited for a both creative & analytical mind well-versed in brand partnerships, marketing, digital media, and analytics.  

Responsibilities

Partnership Sales Support 

  • Lead development of a data-backed go-to-market strategy for priority sales categories leveraging 1P and 3P survey data 
  • Support Partnership Sales proposals by identifying opportunities best-suited to partner KPIs and providing performance estimates 
  • Develop materials, including case studies and custom audience alignment slides, to strengthen prospect pitches with data from third-party partners 

 

Partnership Measurement 

  • Build and manage central dashboards that monitor cross-channel partner performance, leveraging social analytics and earned media tracking tools 
  • Track partner campaigns across channels, providing insights and data-driven optimization recommendations to the Rams media team, account managers, and directly to partners 
  • Present campaign insights, recommendations and recaps to internal media team, account managers, and partners 
  • Design, execute, and present results of brand health studies to partners 

 

Department Strategy & Internal Reporting 

  • Provide data-backed valuations for various partner assets, including social & digital series, in-stadium signage, etc. 
  • Lead monthly reporting across the Partnerships group including sales pipeline insights, year-to-date revenue breakdown, partner assets, and key Rams audience insights 
  • Act as main point-of-contact for third-party sponsorship measurement & insights vendors and pitch new/expanded partnerships with these partners to Rams executives as needed to keep the Rams best-in-class 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • 4+ years of experience in sponsorship or brand/media analytics or related field 
  • Mastery of Excel and data visualization software 
  • Experience in social, digital, and paid social media strategy 
  • Track record in using data to make strategic marketing decisions 
  • Outstanding attention to detail in all tasks, big and small 
  • Strong, professional communication, leadership, and organizational skills 
  • Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment, often under tight deadlines

Experience

Preferred
  • 4+ years of experience in sponsorship or brand/media analytics or related field
