The Los Angeles Rams Football Operations and Facilities Internship (looking for part-time, local college students) provides an opportunity to work with, shadow and observe the Los Angeles Rams football organization. Mentorship, career development and networking opportunities are key components of an immediate and sustainable career experience for each participant as we aim to prepare for the rigors of a career in athletics.

*Looking for part-time, local college students. This internship has an estimated duration of July 2024 - June 2025. Depending on the time of year, this internship will yield 12-20 hours of work per week.*

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THIS JOB:

  • Assist with all home game logistics throughout the season including reporting to our home hotel on Saturday evenings (hotel set up, check in, break down) and SoFi Stadium on Sunday mornings for various gameday responsibilities.
  • Aid in the upkeep of practice fields and team’s training facility including painting practice fields weekly; in season paint days are usually Tuesday mornings.
  • Responsible for tasks around the facility including weekly mail pickups from Rams business office, restocking fridge, collect and dump facility’s shredding.
  • Create resource guides that are provided to incoming players, returning players, coaches, staff, and our Rams Family Organization.
  • Assist in all operational aspects of training camp logistics including but not limited to hotel build out, player, coach and staff check in, daily organizational movements, open practice management, guest access and much more.
  • Maintain and manage Teamworks system for communication with organization, calendars and travel information.
  • Build out hotel call sheet and hotel guide that includes potential road stays for the upcoming season’s away games during the offseason.
  • Support with Rookie Transition Program for incoming players as well as free agent support throughout season.
  • Responsible for keeping inventory of office supplies for players, coaches and staff and report to administrator for ordering.
  • Support Football Operations team as a key member in all aspects and accomplish other duties as assigned.


KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have valid driver’s license
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
  • Must be available during summer, and certain weekdays, weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to multi-task and problem solve in a demanding, fast-paced work environment
  • Requires extreme professionalism and a hard-working mindset
  • Ability to take on any task with a “we not me” approach
  • Requires the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

 

Salary: $16/hr.
