Position Overview
The Graphic Designer Intern will support the team’s creative efforts by assisting in the design and production of graphics, digital content, and marketing materials. This internship offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced sports and entertainment environment, giving the intern the opportunity to contribute to real projects while developing a strong portfolio.

This role is ideal for a motivated student or recent graduate who is passionate about sports design, creative storytelling, and brand development.

Key Responsibilities-
Brand & Creative Support:
  • Assist in maintaining the team’s visual identity across digital and print platforms.
  • Design graphics for social media, website, email campaigns, and in-arena displays.
  • Support marketing and sponsorship activations with branded creative assets.
Content Production:
  • Help produce digital content such as game-day graphics, promotional pieces, and event materials.
  • Work with the creative team to deliver consistent and engaging visuals.
  • Edit and resize artwork for multiple formats and platforms.
Game-Day Support:
  • Assist in creating in-arena graphics, video board elements, and other fan engagement visuals.
  • Support the game operations team with quick-turn creative needs on game days.
Collaboration & Learning:
  • Work alongside the Creative & Content Director and other staff to gain experience in sports branding and storytelling.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute new ideas for fan engagement.
  • Learn about sponsorship activation and how creative design supports business goals.

Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Media Production, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign required; After Effects or Premiere Pro a plus).
  • Strong eye for design, typography, and layout.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Interest in sports, entertainment, and live events.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience creating motion graphics or video editing.
  • Photography skills (game action or event photography).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital content trends.
  • Basic knowledge of web design or content management systems (WordPress, Squarespace, etc.).

Internship Details/Requirements
  • Candidate MUST be a able to work minimum of 10 hours a week in office, plus all scheduled home games.
  • This is a part-time, seasonal internship aligned with the football season.
  • Nights, weekends, and game-day availability required.
  • Opportunity to build a professional portfolio with real-world sports projects.
  • Internship may be eligible for academic credit.
