ABOUT THE IOWA BARNSTORMERS: The Iowa Barnstormers is a dynamic, locally owned, highly successful indoor football franchise that is based in Des Moines, Iowa. The team has established a strong, loyal fan base and is looking for energetic, professional, and self-motivated individuals to join their front office.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Under the guidance of Barnstormers management, the Merchandise Interns will assist with managing inventory, the game day merchandise store, and online orders, providing excellent customer service to fans. The Merchandise Interns will:
- Track and manage all inventory throughout the season
- Keep inventory organized in designated storage locations
- Assist with all set up and tear down of merchandise stores at all home games and special events
- Fulfill and ship all online orders
- Ability to be in office one to two days per week
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Retail experience (1+ years)
- Punctuality is required
- Able to support work on some early mornings, nights, weekends, and occasional holidays
Merchandise Interns will receive game day stipend.
