ABOUT THE IOWA BARNSTORMERS: The Iowa Barnstormers is a dynamic, locally owned, highly successful indoor football franchise that is based in Des Moines, Iowa. The team has established a strong, loyal fan base and is looking for energetic, professional, and self-motivated individuals to join their front office.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Under the guidance of Barnstormers management, the Merchandise Coordinator will manage the online store year-round and in-person store on game days, providing excellent customer service to fans. The Merchandise Coordinator will:
- Track and manage all inventory throughout the year
- Keep inventory organized in designated storage locations
- Assist with apparel and novelty orders based on sales, trends, etc.
- Assist with all set up and tear down of merchandise stores at all home games and special events
- Fulfill and ship all online orders
- Ability to be in office one to two days per week
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Retail experience (1+ years)
- Punctuality is required
- Able to support work on some early mornings, nights, weekends, and occasional holidays
Merchandise Coordinator will receive hourly pay.
