The Indianapolis Colts are seeking a Mascot Program Coordinator to support the daily operations of the Colts Mascot Department and collaborates directly with the Creative Director of the Mascot Program. This role is essential in supporting the Colts vision, mission, and business priorities. The team member manages key projects, processes and systems within the Mascot Department and serves as an emcee for Blue’s School Shows. The position demands organization, adaptability and the ability to excel in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage and book school shows in collaboration with the Mascot Intern.
  • Maintain mascot appearance and meeting schedules, and logistics for community, sponsorship, marketing, and third-party events.
  • Serve as an emcee for Blue’s school shows and collaborate with the Colts Cheerleading Department to supplement emcee responsibilities with Colts Cheerleaders.
  • Work alongside the Creative Director of Mascot Program to plan, coordinate, and execute game day activities, including pre-game skits, in-game promotions, and events featuring Blue and Blue’s Crew.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director of Mascot Program and Mascot Social Media Coordinator to support the growth of the Mascot Program in areas such as sponsorship, social media content, promotions, events, and media.
  • Work closely with the Mascot Specialist and Mascot Social Media Coordinator to support international and social media initiatives as needed.
  • Coordinate internal and external communications for the Mascot Program and oversee administrative functions including financial tracking and expense reports, production requests, and earned media monitoring.
  • Help develop the annual budget and business plan for the Mascot Department.
  • Collaborate across the organization to facilitate Blue’s involvement in other business areas such as sponsorship, marketing, and ticketing.
  • Maintain Blue’s webpages on colts.com in partnership with the Colts digital team.
  • Manage and track department inventory and giveaways.
  • Support the Creative Director of Mascot Program in preparing presentation materials related to program strategy and growth.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in marketing, events, or project management.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with computer applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Commitment to both teamwork and individual responsibility.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, high motivation, and organizational skills; ability to multitask, adapt, and a passion for working in sports.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and all Colts home games, with some travel required.
