The Indianapolis Colts are seeking a Marketing & Licensing Coordinator/Senior Coordinator who will play a key role in supporting the team’s integrated marketing efforts, with a focus on consumer products, brand activations, and fan engagement. This position will help to drive strategic initiatives across licensing, influencer marketing, youth programs, and premium item campaigns, while also managing vendor relationships and supporting cross-functional promotions. The Coordinator/Senior Coordinator will collaborate across departments to execute innovative marketing plans, maintain operational systems, and ensure brand consistency across all fan-facing platforms and experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the team’s Director of Marketing in developing and executing a comprehensive licensing and consumer products program, including:
    • Administering team ordering systems and portals, and maintaining departmental inventory for gameday, events, and retail activations.
    • Facilitating B2B vendor ordering opportunities for internal and external needs.
    • Tracking retail trends and hot market opportunities in partnership with the NFL Consumer Products team.
    • Managing budgeting, invoicing, and financial tracking for retail, licensing, and premium product programs.
  • Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Fanatics partnership, including:
    • Contributing to omnichannel promotional and marketing plans, in-venue merchandising, and activations for gameday and tentpole events.
    • Assisting with high-profile product launches and experiential fan engagement opportunities.
    • Maintaining and reporting on licensing-related content across Colts digital platforms (Colts.com, Colts App, etc.).
  • Oversee the team’s premium item program, including, but not limited to:
    • Leading the strategy for the team’s premium item program, leveraging these items to boost fan engagement and support various commercial verticals including ticket sales, corporate partnerships, and player autographs.
    • Overseeing the ideation, ordering and distribution of gameday giveaways and manage the hiring and supervision of distribution teams for each game.
    • Collaborating with other business verticals to support key gifting initiatives.
    • Coordinating production of specialty print projects (e.g., holiday cards, concession cards, grassroots posters).
  • Assist in managing the team’s influencer program to expand reach and enhance brand awareness through gifting, hospitality, and media day opportunities.
    • Monitor emerging influencer and social media trends and provide insights to support the Club’s strategy.
  • Support the Director of Marketing in executing youth marketing and affinity club programs by identifying new youth retail and licensing opportunities and assisting with membership fulfillment and related initiatives.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the marketing department by assisting with event execution, gameday hospitality, and programming and maintaining key departmental systems and processes.

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor's degree in Sports Marketing, Marketing, Retail or a related field.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in a related field.
  • Strong understanding of licensing & consumer products field.
  • Sports industry experience preferred. NFL experience plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
  • Positive attitude with a creative and outgoing personality.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively.
  • Ability to work occasional evening and weekend hours based on team events.
