The Indianapolis Colts are seeking a Manager of Consumer Sales who will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, and developing a Consumer Sales Team to achieve revenue goals while building a strong sales & service culture. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Leadership & Development:
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop Consumer Sales Representatives
- Set clear expectations and performance standards for activity, productivity, revenue & service
- Conduct regular one-on-ones, call coaching sessions, and performance reviews and follow up with appropriate feedback and direction for development
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and competitive sales & service culture focused on growth and accountability
Strategy:
- Establish and manage individual and team sales & service goals
- Monitor daily activity metrics (calls, emails, appointments) and conversion rates
- Collaborate with leadership on sales initiatives, promotions, contests, and campaigns
- Lead regular staff meetings and facilitate discussion and sharing of ideas related to growing revenue and professional development of the team
- Collaboration with other leaders to develop call campaigns, and opportunities for new sales
Process & Execution:
- Oversee Pipeline Management, CRM usage, and sales reporting
- Ensure consistent execution of sales processes and best practices
- Develop and implement weekly training programs focused on consultative selling and objection handling
- Maintain strong cross-departmental communication
- Assist with Ticket Sales events, programs and initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in ticket sales with collegiate and/or professional sports team
- Background in high-volume outbound sales environments
- Superior communication skills, collaborative with strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of CRM systems
- Results oriented leader with proven ability to motivate people and maximize revenue
- Proven track record in ticket sales
- Willingness and ability to work long hours, including holidays and weekends as required
