POSITION DESCRIPTION
We are seeking part-time Summer/Training Camp/Game Day Interns to help us run our business operations during peak times (May 2022 through end of the regular season: Feb/March 2023). You will be integrally contributing as a Colts team member and we will offer you real hands-on work experience, developmental learning series and community engagement opportunities. The Indianapolis Colts Summer/Training Camp/Game Day Intern will assist with various efforts of the team’s business operations departments, and will work events throughout the pre-season and during the football season with a focus on:
  • Colts Summer Events (May-August 2022)
  • Colts Training Camp (July-August 2022)
  • Colts Home Gamedays (September-March 2023)

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The Summer/Training Camp/Game Day Intern’s general responsibilities include but are not limited to: 
  • Planning, promoting and executing various events throughout the summer and the football season with major emphasis on Colts In Motion, the Summer Tour, Training Camp and Touchdown Town 
  • Assisting with the content creation and daily updates to all @ColtsEvents social media accounts 
  • Selling and promoting all Colts Affinity Clubs 
  • Assisting with all register to win and prize fulfillment 
  • Managing Colts events equipment inventory 
  • Collaborating with other internal departments to execute team programs and events 
  • Assisting with departmental administrative tasks 
  • Performing other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
Undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States for the duration of the internship
  • Live within driving distance of the greater Indianapolis area for the duration of the internship
  • Detail-oriented and organized; flexible with the ability to multi-task
  • Highly motivated and passionate about working in sports
  • General social and digital media skills
  • Excellent communicator with strong customer service and computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to life and move objects up to 40 pounds
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to drive a company vehicle
  • Available to work nights, weekends and holidays
